Segmented wood turning is an art form involving many individual pieces of solid wood. They are set in patterns to form rings and then individual rings are stacked in order. It is then placed on a wood lathe and turned to create a one of a kind eye-catching gift or keepsake. Domestic and exotic woods are used to create unique vases, bowls and vessels of many shapes and sizes.
